Kerry Allen was introduced as President-Elect of Louisville Bible College by Anthony Sweeney, Chairman of the Board of Regents, at Commencement on Saturday, May 18. He will conclude a 20+ year ministry with Person to Person Ministries in December 2020 but will begin transitioning to LBC in January 2020. He will work one week a month then two weeks a month then three weeks a month until he becomes full-time President by January 2021. Dr. Tom Mobley will continue to serve as President until September 2020 if his health permits. Then plans call for him to become part-time Chancellor.
Mr. Allen served as a former President of Bluefield College of Evangelism prior to P2P. A native of Indiana, he has served with several local congregations as their minister. He is a graduate of BCE and holds a Master’s from LBC, where he also did some of his undergraduate work. He and his wife, Pam, will be locating to the Kentuckiana area once their P2P ministry concludes.
